We’re looking for an enthusiastic, self\-motivated engineer to help us build the next generation of financial products. This role’s primary focus will be on the Uniswap Wallet suite of products, which consists of [mobile apps on iOS and Android](https://wallet.uniswap.org/) as well as our new browser extension. Our products live in a monorepo and are built using React Native for Web to enable maximal code sharing between them. As a Staff Engineer at Uniswap, you will be expected to drive a large degree of impact by being involved in multiple key projects, exemplify engineering excellence, and be a strong source of mentorship for more junior engineers. You will be responsible for ensuring a consistent, high\-quality user experience across these interfaces and will have the ability to influence the creation, design, and execution of future products and features.  #### **Responsibilities** * Work across client, server, architecture, and infrastructure that powers our wallet products * Take charge of driving strategic technical initiatives across engineering pods that impact the entire engineering organization * Play a leading technical role in multiple large, impactful projects * Rapidly implement functional UI elements from design mocks, with an eye toward performance and accessibility and ensure that components are functional, elegant, and performant * Know when to create abstractions vs. one\-off features * Provide mentorship and feedback to other engineers on the team through both code and design doc reviews #### **Requirements** * 8\+ years of software engineering experience * A deep understanding of the architecture of modern client\-side React Native applications * Proven individual contributor or previously a Tech Lead with experience planning and leading end to end large projects with long\-term impact on one or more systems or a team * Familiarity with the web3 frontend stack (e.g., [ethers.js, web3\.js](http://ethers.js/web3.js), [viem](https://viem.sh/)) * Experience with TypeScript * Experience working fullstack * A desire to keep up with modern best practices in web/mobile development #### **Nice to Have** * Experience in native mobile (e.g., Swift, Kotlin) * Experience with React Native for Web * Degree in computer science * Prior experience creating a design system or component library * Love for unicorns :) *Full Time employees at Uniswap Labs are also eligible for other compensation elements, including equity, tokens, and benefits, dependent on the position type.*
