UI Engineer
at Tenderly, you will play a central role in the
Product team
, collaborating closely with designers, product managers, and developers to deliver polished, high-performance user interfaces. Your work will directly impact the platform’s usability, blending design sensibilities with front-end engineering expertise to create visually appealing, functional components that enhance the user experience. You'll bridge the gap between aesthetics and functionality, ensuring our products are not only visually engaging but also highly efficient and user-centric.
What You'll Do

Product
Team Collaboration:
Enhance Tenderly’s core products and explore new opportunities by integrating design vision with engineering expertise.

UI
Design & Development:
Create responsive, user-friendly, and accessible UI components using Figma and React.

Fast-Paced Iteration:
Work with Product Designers, Managers, Engineers, and DevRels to rapidly iterate and refine solutions based on feedback.

Prototype & Experiment
: Build functional prototypes to explore interactions, animations, and new ideas, iterating rapidly to get the best results. There are so many touch points Tenderly has with the world (integrations, UI, docs, marketing website, libraries)

Optimize Usability:
Ensure interfaces are visually appealing, high-performing, accessible, and user-friendly across all devices and browsers.

Design System Contribution:
Maintain and enhance our design system with reusable components and improved patterns.

Marketing & Growth Support:
Enhance the Tenderly website and docs by implementing interactive elements, animations, pricing pages, and dashboard upgrades.

Open Source Frontend Libraries:
Build front-end libraries that empower networks and dApps, aligning with Tenderly’s commitment to open source.
About You
We’re looking for a versatile UI engineer with a deep appreciation for design and a passion for creating beautiful and functional user experiences. You should have:

Design & Engineering Expertise
: Demonstrated experience in building polished user interfaces, with an understanding of design principles (typography, color, layout), user interactions, and UI animations.

Customer-Centric Focus
: You understand the importance of delivering an excellent user experience and are comfortable
pushing for smaller projects
aimed at improving customer satisfaction.

Technical Proficiency
: Strong expertise in front-end development (React, JavaScript, CSS) with experience working on design systems and reusable components.

Aesthetic Sensibility
: Ability to think from both a design and technical perspective, ensuring designs are not only visually appealing but also efficient and performant.

: Experience working closely with designers, developers, and product teams, iterating on design feedback and delivering high-quality products.
