The opportunity
Superteam is seeking a NY Ecosystem Lead who will serve as both, the primary point of contact for new and existing Solana ecosystem contributors and a coordinator for all future ecosystem growth initiatives in the region. You will build out a thriving local Solana ecosystem, help rising founders get started, and support them through the early days of their Solana journey.
As you grow into the role, you’ll expand your impact across the country, helping to launch and nurture thriving communities in other key cities (Boston, Chicago, Miami, Philadelphia). This is a chance to shape the future of Solana’s presence in the U.S. crypto space. To be successful in this role
You will:
Directly manage and grow the Solana community in New York
Develop and execute events and initiatives that fuel excitement and engagement for Solana in your region
Support up and coming developers and founders in the Solana ecosystem
Oversee and support community leaders across the US region as they drive ecosystem growth.
Collaborate with international Superteams to facilitate global expansion for U.S. projects
Manage regional budgets and grant allocations, including microgrant programs.
You ideally have:
3-5 years of experience in the U.S. crypto ecosystem
Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills
Deep connections in either NYC crypto community
Experience managing communities, events, distributed teams or partner networks
Ability to develop and implement scalable processes and tracking systems
Bonus points
Previous experience working within the Solana ecosystem
Can understand basics of Solana development
Track record of supporting early-stage founders
Location
This role requires being based full-time in New York
Though you can work from home, significant in-person presence is naturally expected for community building
Regular travel within your region may be required
