Key Responsibilities In this role as a Business Development Manager, you will focus on working with various Asian projects to build on blockchain protocols that Startale Labs is building. Your responsibilities will be multifaceted and will require you to be proactive and motivated. You will have to conduct extensive research to forecast trends and position the Business Development and Growth team to design strategies to be in the best position for forecasted trends. You will also analyze current trends in web3, shortlist protocols that you believe would make a good addition to the ecosystem, and then actively work on onboarding these protocols by making the right connections and taking calls on your own. As the ecosystem grows, we plan to expand the role into the world of enterprises, gaming, consumer applications and entertainment. Qualification and Skills What you’ll need Minimum 1-2 years work experience in business development within crypto/web3 industry Professional level of communication capcity in English for both verbal and written language Knowledge about general blockchain/web3 use cases and track records of professional experiences in the field Preferred Experience Experience of working as business development positions in blockchain protocols and/or decentralized applications Capability to communicate at professional level with minimum one Asian language such as Mandarin Chinese or Vietnamese Strong Degen score and deep understanding of certain web3/blockchain use cases such as gaming or consumer apps Vast network for builder community within EVM ecosystem What are the must-have skills for this role? Deep understanding of web3 use cases and projects community, Strong interpersonal skills, Killer instinct (capability to convince counterparts and close the deals) Basic understanding of blockchain technology What specific experiences are most valuable for this role? Past experiences as business development role in other reputable blockchain protocols. With that said, it does not mean tier 1 protocol only. It could include broader range of protocols as long as there is an ecosystem within the protocol.Another potential experience could be experiences as BD person from reputable dapp project, preferably in projects with characteristics of platform.
