As a Quant Developer at Presto You will develop frameworks that help researchers and traders generate and implement various trading ideas derived from the data using innovative technologies. You will also develop tools for implementing and managing strategies. You will work with the world’s top-class quantitative engineers, researchers, and traders of Presto Labs, and experience a lot of cutting-edge technologies. Responsibilities Collaborate with and support Quantitative Researchers and Traders on signal/alpha and strategy development Collaborate with external exchanges to integrate and optimize trading operations, ensuring seamless connectivity and data exchange. Build a robust, expandable research infrastructure, including global market data analysis, automated alpha/signal search, simulation, and performance evaluation Build a platform to process all parts of quant trading - data processing, model building, optimization, and execution Build visualization, monitoring, and reporting tools for live trading and simulation (market/position/profit and loss/any other statistics related to trading) Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or other quantitative disciplines Proficiency in C++ and Python Understanding of object-oriented programming Experience in Unix/Linux environments Ability to manage multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced team environment Excellent analytical skills Ability to take the initiative and work without detailed guidance or supervision Preferred 2+ years of experience and proven track records in the software development industry or relevant experience (portfolio of achievement while in Master's or Ph.D. program, for instance) Experience in quantitative analysis and algorithms Strong knowledge of probability and statistics (e.g., machine learning, time-series analysis, pattern recognition, NLP) Proficient English communication skills for business conversations and written communication Hiring process CV/ Resume Submission Coding & Math test 1st round interview 2nd round interview Final round interview * Depending on the circumstances, the interview process may change.
