We’re looking for an Investment Associate who’s passionate about the power of emerging technologies to transform industries. You’ll play a pivotal role in identifying, evaluating, and supporting investments that align with P2P’s strategic goals. Responsibilities Identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities and strategic collaboration opportunities with key builders across the crypto industryPrepare in-depth investment recommendations and present findings to senior team membersAnalyse emerging trends in blockchain and crypto markets, synthesise findings, and publish insightsConduct technical and market due diligence, including financial modelling and qualitative analysisMonitor industry developments and maintain a database of companies, leaders, and investors in relevant sectorsBuild strong relationships with portfolio companies and support them post-investment.Foster a vibrant network of projects, VCs, and ecosystem partnersJoin project communities and contribute to building thought leadership through written researchSupport senior team members with deal execution, including everything from modelling, light legal work, investment project evaluation, liaising with external vendors, and managing timelinesContribute to internal knowledge sharing and overall investment arm operationsAttend conferences and events to identify opportunities and expand our presence in the startup and crypto ecosystems Requirements Experience as a builder in crypto or in a highly analytical role venture capital and investment bankingStrong writing skills with the ability to distil complex topics into clear, engaging content. A passion for building relationships and publishing insights that add value to the communityExcellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving abilitiesDeep understanding of blockchain fundamentals and crypto marketsDemonstrated curiosity and contributions to the crypto ecosystem (e.g. thought leadership, coding, or project involvement)High agency and conviction in your ideas, paired with a collaborative and low-ego approachA self-starter mentality with a proven ability to take initiative and work with minimal oversightComfort working across multiple teams, including product, engineering, legal, and financeA strong network within crypto and startup ecosystemsExperience with tools like the Zettelkasten method for knowledge management (Nice to have) Conditions At P2P.org we have a team of experts with their own unique approach and ownership culture.
