startups at various stages of their lifecycle from pre-seed / seed (via Base Camp our accelerator program) to later stages about to launch (or live) token networks. We specialise in the New Data Economy, Infrastructure, DeFi, and the Open Metaverse, bringing together a network of thousands of the world’s leading web3 founders, protocols, and VCs to mentor and invest in startups.
In line with our strategic focus on the Middle East, we are launching a new in-person accelerator program in Riyadh, and we are seeking an Operations Associate to join our team. This role is crucial to the smooth functioning of our accelerator program.
As an Operations Associate, you will be responsible for assisting the Accelerator Lead in ensuring the seamless execution of our in-person accelerator program in Riyadh. This includes managing day-to-day operations, coordinating with startups and mentors, and handling logistical tasks to support the program’s success. You will work closely with the local team and report to the Accelerator Lead.
Key responsibilities
In this role, you will work alongside startups and Outlier Ventures teams to deliver success across the year for up to four cohorts of web3 startups. Responsibilities include:
Program Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the accelerator program, ensuring all activities run smoothly and efficiently.Logistics Coordination: Manage logistics related to program events, including scheduling, venue setup, and coordination with vendors and partners.Startup Support: Assist cohort startups with operational needs, including meeting setups, workspace organisation, and general troubleshooting.Mentor Coordination: Schedule and manage mentor meetings, ensuring that startups have access to the right expertise at the right times.Data Management: Maintain accurate records of cohort progress, mentor interactions, and other key operational data.Event Management: Support the planning and execution of key program events such as Demo Day, investor meetings, and networking events.Team Collaboration: Work closely with the program team to identify and implement improvements in program delivery.Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for startups regarding operational matters.

Be highly organised with strong attention to detail.Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Possess strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.Be proactive and able to take initiative in a fast-paced environment.Have a strong interest in the startup ecosystem.Be flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances and needs.Fluency in Arabic is essential for communication with local partners and vendors.
