What you’ll be doing As a Senior Technical Artist, you will be expected to fulfil the following activities: Collaboration with the engineering and art departments to ensure our content is technically compliant and performant. Working in UE5 to create and maintain high quality materials and procedural systems. Improving the pipelines, processes, and workflows for content development. Supporting the content artists, providing documentation and mentorship for them to effectively utilise our tools and technology. Keeping up with the latest technological breakthroughs and advancements in the game industry About you 5+ years of professional production experience with AAA game titles, and at least 1 shipped AAA game as a Technical Artist A deep knowledge of relevant areas of the Unreal Engine – particularly material authoring, procedural systems, asset optimisation and lighting. Ability to assess existing workflows, pipelines and content, making recommendations and executing improvements. Knowledge of key DCC application APIs: 3ds Max, Maya (Blender & Houdini a bonus) A problem solver with a passion for removing roadblocks for artists and empowering them to produce extraordinary quality at scale. A personable team player with strong communication skills. Passionate about gaming, with a keen interest in crypto and blockchain technology Ability to work remotely and independently with flexible hours Optional Additions Experience writing HLSL/CgFX Shaders C++ and scripting languages - Python, PyMEL, MaxScript, PyQt/PySide Experience in Mari or Substance An interesting in real-time lighting.
