Director of Marketing, APACAs a Regional Marketing Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing Nexus’ marketing strategy across the APAC region. This role will work closely with our marketing, product, and partnerships teams to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and market expansion in one of the world’s most dynamic Web3 landscapes. About NexusThe Nexus Project is a scientific and engineering effort bringing truth to the field of computation. We’re enabling a new form of compute: verifiable computation, powered by open science and open-source software so it can benefit everyone. Our work aims to bring to life decades of advancements in zero-knowledge cryptography, achieved by many scientists, engineers, and mathematicians, into a single software system: a world-scale Layer-1 supercomputer.Nexus raised $25M in Series A funding, co-led by Lightspeed and Pantera, with participation from Dragonfly, SV Angel, and more.Our team consists of some of the world's top cryptographers, mathematicians, and engineers, all working together with one goal: to unite the world's computers and prove humanity's computations.We are headquartered in San Francisco, but this role is based in the APAC region.Job OverviewThe APAC Marketing Director is responsible for driving Nexus’ growth and brand presence across the APAC region. This role involves developing and executing a regional marketing strategy that aligns with global objectives, building brand awareness, generating demand, and leading localized campaigns across digital channels. The Director will also foster community engagement, establish partnerships, and build/lead a regional marketing team. Ideal candidates will have deep APAC market knowledge, experience in Web3 or blockchain technology, and a data-driven approach to measuring and optimizing campaign performance.Responsibilities Market Strategy & Planning Develop and implement the APAC regional marketing strategy to drive growth, engagement, and market share for Nexus Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify regionally specific trends, opportunities, and key insights specific to our products Set and execute on regional goals that are aligned with our global marketing objectives Brand Development & Awareness Amplify the Nexus brand across APAC, establishing it as a thought leader in the Web3 and zero knowledge cryptography space Collaborate with our global marketing to localize messaging and content to resonate with regional audiences Lead regional PR initiatives, event sponsorships, and community outreach efforts to enhance brand visibility Demand Generation & Campaign Management Design and execute integrated marketing campaigns that drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention Develop, manage, and optimize digital marketing channels (social, paid, email, SEO) in alignment with overall goals Collaborate with our product team to launch and drive interest in updated versions of our zkVM and network Partnerships & Community Engagement Identify and build relationships with key industry players, KOLs, and community partners across APAC Lead local engagement initiatives, including meetups, workshops, and conferences, to foster strong community connections Partner with developers, educational platforms, and ecosystem stakeholders to promote awareness and adoption of our technology Team Leadership & Cross-functional Collaboration Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing regional marketing team Work with our global marketing, product, and partnerships teams to align strategies, share insights, and leverage resources Requirements 10+ years in marketing, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior marketing role within APAC; Web3 experience is highly preferred Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of APAC’s digital landscape, consumer behavior, and business environment Skills: Proven track record in brand building, demand generation, and digital marketing with expertise in social, SEO, email, and paid channel Leadership: Strong team management experience and an ability to collaborate with global and cross-functional teams Analytical Mindset: Data-driven approach with strong analytical skills to measure campaign performance and optimize strategies Languages: Fluency in English and at least one additional APAC regional language is preferred.
