Role overview:
We're looking for a Visual Designer whose primary focus will be supporting our growth marketing efforts. This means creating top-notch experiences for our customers. You’ll report to the VP of Design and collaborate closely with our marketing team to produce both static and animated brand and marketing materials. With a variety of projects at hand, there’s always an opportunity to challenge yourself and learn new skills!
Responsibilities will include:
● Applying your visual design skills to create marketing materials across various media—ranging from illustrations and merchandise to digital ads, email blasts, and landing pages
● Collaborating with the marketing team to develop assets that drive new user adoption and engagement, incorporating feedback and real-time insights to optimize designs
● Managing incoming requests and collaborating with multiple stakeholders to prioritize your workload
● Playing a vital role in shaping our design identity and how we are perceived in the world
● Thriving in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment that values autonomy and professionalism over micromanagement
Who you are:
● 3-5 years of experience as a visual or digital designer on an in-house or agency creative team
● Bachelor’s degree in a relevant design field or equivalent experience
● Solid understanding of digital design layouts and formats, including common social media specifications
● Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and proficiency in working with Webflow
● Video editing capabilities, with motion graphics experience as a bonus (experience with prototyping software like Protopie or Principle is a plus)
● Proficiency in design software such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (bonus points for After Effects experience)
Must Haves:
● A passion for analyzing the performance of your assets and iterating on ideas for improvement
● A strong design point of view grounded in a solid graphic design foundation, serving as an ambassador for our brand
● Relevant experience in video editing, animation, and motion design, with a keen eye for storytelling through visuals
● Up-to-date knowledge of content and social media best practices, with a finger on the pulse of industry trends
● Excellent written and oral communication skills for effective collaboration in a remote environment
● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with a reliable and self-motivated work ethic
● Ability to act quickly while being open to iteration and feedback from multiple stakeholders
● Independence in managing and prioritizing projects and deadlines
Please include the following in your application:
● Your resume
● Links to your portfolio or past projects
● A brief message about what you hope to gain in the next chapter of your career and what you believe sets you apart from other designers
