The team
Our People team is called the Krakenite Experience (KX) team, and we aim to become a world leader in People Experience. Working with the world's top talent, our diverse and forward‐thinking team is spread across 60+ countries. In this role you will partner with the Engineering and Client Engagement/Security & IT organizations as a Sr. KX Business Partner. This role will report into the Director of KXBPs who is aligned to a number of Business groups within Kraken. As a member of the KXBP team, you'll play a crucial role in partnering with our leaders and employees to foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing work environment. We are looking for dynamic, forward-thinking individuals who thrive on collaboration, and have a strong passion for HR. KXBPs are strategic partners between KX and senior level stakeholders within Kraken - BPs have deep understandings of the business and help drive their stakeholders’ strategies while ensuring KX’s initiatives and execution align with the company’s values and needs.The opportunity
Partner with business unit leaders and the broader KX team to develop solutions and programs that enhance all phases of the Krakenite lifecylce.
Help with the development and implementation of HR strategies, and programs aligned with business objectives. Support initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
Support HR initiatives related to talent management, succession planning and organizational development.
Serve as a point of contact for managers on HR-related issues, providing guidance on HR policies, practices, and procedures.
Provide guidance and input on organizational change initiatives by providing HR support and guidance to leaders and employees.
Assist with sentiment checks and pulse checks within the layers of the business (especially the manager layer) to help define the people plan for the functions.
Provide guidance and support to managers on performance management processes with the help of our employee relations team.
Analyze HR data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement.
Analyze employee engagement surveys and help develop action plans based on survey results.
Skills you should HODL
Minimum of 7 years of experience in Human Resources with at least 2 years a Human Resources Business Partner supporting international teams
Knowledge of international employment-related laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
Experience working in a remote, globally distributed team in a fast-paced high-growth environment strongly preferred
Experience at a technology company or highly successful start-up strongly preferred
Proactive problem solver and disciplined self-starter that thrives in an ambiguous environment with ever-changing priorities
Appreciates privacy, security, “crypto values”.
Ability to build strong working relationships with Krakenites across multiple business areas
Passion for cryptocurrency adoption and personal experience with crypto strongly preferred
Extremely organized with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
