What you’ll be responsible for:
Under the direction of the Deputy General Counsel, Corporate, you will play an immediate and direct role supporting legal operations needs of Circle Legal’s Corporate pillar, which includes Transactions and Corporate Governance teams.
What you'll work on:
Oversee the development, implementation, or improvement of processes, procedures and metrics to increase the overall effectiveness of the legal services provided by the Corporate Legal teams.
Board Support and Entity Management
Legal Analytics: Analyze and provide insights that support strategic decision-making; Track contract and legal requests, provide reporting on response times, volumes, and approvals.
Process Improvement: Develop, implement, and maintain processes and systems to improve the efficiency of the Corporate legal teams.
Technology Management: Identify, implement, integrate, and manage legal technology solutions to streamline operations, such as contract management systems, e-billing, and document management systems.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect and analyze data to provide insights and reports on team performance and metrics.
Project Management: Manage legal projects from inception to completion.
Team Oversight: Grow and manage a legal operations team as demand requires, to ensure engagement and coordination across the Legal team and other internal stakeholders.

What you’ll bring to Circle:
10+ years of practical, hands-on experience managing legal operations teams and activities that support a large, in-house legal organization.
3+ years of managing high-performing teams.
Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams through system integration and continuous process improvement.
Experience across legal technology product platforms including but not limited to board collaboration, contract management, vendor management, and e-billing systems.
You are a team player with a sense of humor, and enjoy learning but also mentoring.
You are comfortable working in an evolving and growing environment that is prone to changes, and managing multiple projects simultaneously and you have a “no-job-is-too-small” attitude.
You apply sound, practical business judgment to your recommendations, and are creative at solving problems.
You can work autonomously and independently with guidance but are also comfortable working collaboratively as part of a team.
Proficiency in Google Suite, Slack and Apple MacOS preferred.

Starting pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to: relevant experience, skill set, qualifications, and other business and organizational needs. Please note that compensation ranges may differ for candidates in other locations.
Base Pay Range: $162,500 - $212,500
Annual Bonus Target: 17.5%
Also Included: Equity & Benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401(k)). Circle has a discretionary vacation policy. We also provide 10 days of paid sick leave per year and 11 paid holidays per year in the U.S.
