What you’ll be responsible for:
Circle is looking for a Finance Operations Manager to join our Finance Operations team. In this pivotal role, you will lead efforts in designing, optimizing, and managing finance transformation projects to facilitate our company’s growth and evolution. You will work directly with Finance and cross-functional teams to enable the design and rollout of Finance transformation, finance automation and streamlining of core finance processes, international expansion and product roadmap enablement.
What you'll work on:
Overseeing the project management & operationalization of finance transformation initiatives, including ERP system implementation and process automation.
Collaborating closely with Accounting, Tax, Treasury, and FP&A teams to enhance core finance process enablement.
Leading change management efforts, including documentation and training for new finance systems and processes to ensure smooth transitions.
Partnering with cross-functional teams, including Product, to ensure finance operational readiness for new deals and international expansions.
Assisting in scaling finance processes and system architecture to align with the company’s global growth and product strategy.
Assisting in the development and continued improvement of a project management methodology and tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of finance operations initiatives, ensuring consistent tracking, reporting, and communication across projects.
Cultivating strong relationships with team members and stakeholders to drive collaborative success across the organization.

What you’ll bring to Circle:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Computer Information Systems (CIS), or a related field.
7+ years of relevant work experience in finance operations, transformation, or a related area.
Strong understanding of finance operations, including core finance processes, internal controls, and financial systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with all levels of the organization.
Proven leadership and change management skills, with the ability to guide teams through transformation initiatives.
A detail-oriented, analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Self-motivated and proactive, with a drive to add value and improve processes continuously.
Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with the ability to adapt to change.
Experience/familiarity with Slack, Apple MacOS and GSuite.

Starting pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to: relevant experience, skill set, qualifications, and other business and organizational needs. Please note that compensation ranges may differ for candidates in other locations.
Base Pay Range: $130,000-170,000
Annual Bonus Target: 15%
Also Included: Equity & Benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401(k)). Circle has a discretionary vacation policy. We also provide 10 days of paid sick leave per year and 11 paid holidays per year in the U.S.
