Responsibilities
Market and Sector Analysis: Produce institutional-grade research reports on macroeconomic trends as well as sector-specific trends, including but not limited to DeFi, NFT, Gaming, Metaverse, Layer 1/Layer 2 (L1/L2), and any other hot topics on market. These reports will be tailored for both internal and external clients
Project Evaluation: Conduct in-depth research and analysis of on-chain projects and trading data on exchanges, including performance metrics and trends in the market
Data Monitoring and Analysis: Continuously monitor the trading performance of specific projects on-chain and on exchanges, using internal data, public blockchain data, and other relevant sources to inform operational strategies
Operations: Oversee the operations of projects in the Futures, ensuring their continuous success on the exchange by tracking performance and implementing strategies for growth
Detailed Reporting: Synthesize and report findings from multiple data sources (on-chain data, exchange data, market trends, etc.), ensuring accuracy and actionable insights
Collaboration Across Teams: Work closely with other research analysts, data analytics, marketing teams, and other departments to support the overall strategic growth of the Futures contract division
Requirements
Prior experience in research roles at a crypto exchange or in blockchain/VC research, with a focus on data analysis and project evaluation is highly preferred
Proficient in analyzing on-chain data, exchange performance metrics, and understanding various blockchain ecosystems
Strong analytical capabilities to evaluate complex data sets and provide actionable insights for operational strategies and market positioning
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or other related areas. CFA certification is a plus
Excellent articulation and communication skills to convey research findings clearly and effectively across internal and external stakeholders. Strong interpersonal abilities to engage with project teams and industry professionals
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of detail and accuracy
Self-driven, with a strong commitment to producing high-quality work and consistently staying ahead of industry trends
Fluency in English is required to be able to coordinate with overseas partners and stakeholders. Additional languages would be an advantage.
