**About The Role**
The Ecosystem Grants Manager will be key in overseeing grant submissions and administration at Aptos Foundation. This role will involve coordinating with various departments, helping to streamline the end-to-end grant process, and supporting applicants and grant recipients.
**Responsibilities**
* Support the development and successful execution of grant-making strategies, ensuring alignment with the Foundation's mission and goals.
* Work closely with internal teams to ensure proper grant allocation, monitoring, and reporting, including maintaining our grants management system and dashboards.
* Help oversee daily administration and operations within the grants division, ensuring smooth coordination of activities and efficient use of resources.
* Contribute to developing strategic plans for various philanthropic focus areas, integrating insights from multiple sources to create informed and forward-thinking strategies.
* Help to improve cross-organization communication and efficiency for grant deployment, including leading grant reviews and internal updates.
* Work closely with grant recipients to ensure the achievement of goals defined in the designed grant award.
* Actively collaborate with Ecosystem projects to support the continued growth of the Aptos Ecosystem, along with helping inform all other Grants-related responsibilities.
**Requirements**
* 4+ years of experience working with nonprofit organizations, foundations, consulting, or similar entities with notable expertise in grant-making and management.
* Previous experience in blockchain and deep knowledge of the crypto industry is preferred.
* Experience with Airtable and integrations is a plus.
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
* A commitment to efficient grant distribution and capacity to perform cost-analysis of funding proposals to ensure Foundation funds are carefully allocated to fair-priced services.
* Knowledge of local, national, and international grant-making regulations and best practices.
* Resourcefulness and the ability to bring creative, data-driven solutions to every problem, always seeking opportunities rather than obstacles.
* Ability to drive projects independently, thrive on autonomy, and manage multiple initiatives while maintaining a high quality of work.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
