Job Summary: The Finance Associate will play a critical role in building and scaling an innovative Real-World Asset (RWA) platform focused on student loans within Open Campus, an in-house project at Animoca Brands focused on tokenising the education industry. This role centers on underwriting, structuring, and managing student loan deals on-chain, contributing directly to solving the student loan challenge through decentralized finance. Based in our Hong Kong offices, the ideal candidate will have several years of experience in traditional finance (investment banking or private credit/equity), with strong financial modeling skills and familiarity or interest in web 3—particularly around tokenizing and managing real-world assets. While a CFA Level 1 qualification is a positive marker, it is not mandatory. You will be chiefly responsible for underwriting potential business borrowers (students/businesses), structuring loan deals, ongoing risk management, and collections. Additionally, the role will involve preparing investor presentations and performing financial accounting and investor relations operations to support fundraising and portfolio management activities.
