About the Team
The Messaging & Notification team is responsible for building and maintaining the company’s messaging platform, covering in-house instant messaging (IM) systems, email, SMS, and push notifications. We support many business lines growth with reliable and scalable user reach capabilities.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize core components of the messaging platform, including IM, email, SMS, and push notification systems.
Continuously improve the architecture and performance of the messaging infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and low latency, in-line with business growth.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in production environments, ensuring system robustness and reliability.
Collaborate closely with product managers, QA engineers, and SREs to deliver high-quality features and solutions.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or above in Computing.
Solid foundation in Java programming, with in-depth understanding of JVM tuning, I/O, multithreading, concurrency frameworks, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
Familiar with commonly used middleware such as MQ, RPC frameworks, caching, and databases; experience with production-level issue troubleshooting and performance tuning.
Strong knowledge of microservices and distributed system architecture and principles (e.g., service discovery, tracing, CAP theorem, consistency models).
Clear logic, fast learner, strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Experience working on high-throughput and low-latency systems is a strong plus.
