What You’ll Be Doing
Strategic Partnerships
Identify, initiate, and manage partnerships with lending protocols, stablecion issuers, centralized exchanges, payment service providers (PSPs), Real World Asset (RWA) issuers.
Develop growth strategies with key ecosystem partners to increase Assets Under Custody (AUC) on OKX Pay and the transaction volume on X Layer as a payment blockchain.
Ecosystem Development
Design and execute go-to-market strategies to build the X Layer + OKX Pay ecosystem.
Work with product, marketing, and operations teams to ensure partner success and long-term engagement.
Market Expansion
Lead BD efforts to expand OKX Pay into new geographic regions and user verticals, with a focus on high-potential use cases such as P2P transfers, remittances, and crypto payments for goods/services.
Understand local market regulations, user behavior, and payment infrastructure.
Product Feedback & Co-Development
Act as the voice of partners and users to influence product roadmap and help tailor solutions to market needs.
Collaborate with the product team on API design, wallet/payment integrations, and UX improvements.
Performance & Growth
Define OKRs and regularly report on partner success, user growth, transaction volume, and other relevant metrics.
Design and propose incentive programs or co-marketing campaigns to accelerate adoption.
What We Look For In You
3–7 years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or ecosystem growth in crypto, fintech, payments, or financial services.
Strong understanding of DeFi ecosystem, stablecoins, and on-chain payments, including knowledge of major ecosystems (e.g., Ethereum, Polygon, Solana, etc.).
Demonstrated success in structuring, negotiating, and closing partnerships that led to measurable growth (e.g., user acquisition, volume, market penetration).
Experience driving go-to-market strategies for new products or markets.
Existing relationships with key players in the DeFi ecosystem or Web3 payment ecosystem, e.g. lending protocols, DEXs, wallets, merchants, PSPs, stablecoin projects, etc.
Comfortable working across different time zones and cultures.
Nice to Haves
Knowledge of payment blockchain ecosystem development or mini app development.
Previous experience in startups in 0-1 phase or high-growth environments.
Multilingual capabilities, especially in Mandarin, to support regional expansion.
