Role Overview: We are searching for a Recruitment Intern, a role that offers an opportunity to develop skills in candidate sourcing and screening. Your mission? Collaborate with hiring managers to attract top talent and build a strong pipeline of candidates for future opportunities. Responsibilities will include: Contacting and engage passive candidates in a highly competitive market  Being in the know of news in the tech start-up space and cryptocurrency space Build and maintain relationships with employer partners to understand their hiring needs and timelines Work closely with university career centers to identify and attract top talent Review resumes and applications to identify the most qualified candidates Conduct phone and/or video interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit Present top candidates to employer partners and provide ongoing updates on recruitment progress Assist with the coordination of career fairs, on-campus events, and other recruitment initiatives Utilize HR software to track candidate and employer partner information and recruitment metrics Search and contact potential candidates via online social networking such as LinkedIn Who you are: Previous HR or recruitment experience is not required Strong communication and customer service skills Willingness to learn Proficiency with Google Suite Microsoft Office etc. Attention to detail See challenges as opportunities to learn and problem solve Takes initiative and is a self-starter Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines Familiarity with HR software and systems is a plus Previous experience in recruiting is a plus Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field At Newton, we celebrate our inclusive work environment and welcome members of all backgrounds and perspectives to apply.
