The Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled
Junior Data Analyst
to join our team and work on
OCR (Optical Character Recognition) projects
.
About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing large datasets extracted from OCR processes, identifying patterns, and improving accuracy. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, product managers, and software developers to streamline the data pipelines and improve OCR models. Your insights and analysis will be critical in enhancing our document digitization efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Support business decision-making with data-driven insights
Develop representative metrics for different parts of the pipeline
Analyze and interpret OCR data to identify trends and improve model performance.
Develop and maintain
SQL queries
to extract and manipulate data from large databases.
Collaborate with the data engineering team to optimize data pipelines for better processing and retrieval of OCR outputs.
Create visualizations and reports to communicate key insights to stakeholders.
Assist in developing automation solutions to enhance OCR processes, ensuring high accuracy and efficiency.
Your Profile
Proficiency in
Python
for data analysis, including libraries such as
Pandas
and
NumPy
.
Strong expertise in
SQL
for querying and managing data across multiple databases.
Experience with data wrangling and preprocessing of large-scale data.
Nice to have skills
Familiarity with automation tools such as Airflow or dbt to streamline workflows and data pipelines.
Strong background in statistics, basic knowledge of classic ML (linear models, decision tries, clustering, etc.)
experience with analytics of ML models
experience with setting up relevant product metrics
previous experience in a team with advanced analytics processes is a plus
Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude towards continuous improvement.
