The Opportunity We are looking for an ambitious and hardworking Business Analyst to support a fast, driven Director of Finance, who is pushing the boundaries and doing exciting things at a global identity and biometric start-up. The main tasks will include identifying process and system improvement opportunities by monitoring existent metrics, analyzing data, and collaborating with internal teams. This individual will enable effective decision-making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format. The role will also involve day-to-day support of the HoSP's agenda and meetings. You should be excited at the prospect of making a massive impact at a mission-driven organization.   Responsibilities:  Development of various types of financial models. Develop and follow-up on budget performance models and day to day expense analysis. Support in relevant financial transactions (Funding, M&A, etc.) Investor report preparation and review of materials, including investment memoranda, management presentations, and pitchbooks. Create presentations for investor reports. Perform due diligence, research, analysis, and documentation of day-to-day transactions. Support the Finance Director Requirements: Completed a degree in business, economics, finance, mathematics, statistics, data engineering/scientist Some industry experience ideal, either at internship or entry level Strong interpersonal, written and oral skills with full proficiency in English At least intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel Ability to deal with ambiguity and work independently with little supervision Solid organizational skills, including prioritization and time management Ability to dive deep and maintain incredible attention to detail Confident, resilient, reliable and collegiate Global mindset, understand time zones, cultural nuance and different working practices Flexible and adaptable – a hands-on, can-do attitude is essential Proactive, self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects Flexible to provide some support out of hours and attend to unexpected issues at short notice Ideal: advanced knowledge of TABLEAU/Power Query, intermediate (e.g., vlookup) / advanced Excel skills (e.g., Write/edit VBA), and a basic to advanced knowledge of SQL (all join types, group by, order by, calculated columns). 8 Aspects of our Culture: Values are what we value High performance Freedom & responsibility Context, not control Highly aligned, loosely coupled Continuous Feedback Pay Top of Market Promotions & Development Learn more about Life at Incode !
