Key Responsibilities
Design Strategy
Define and own the design vision and strategy for our payment products.
Establish UX/UI design best practices that balance business goals, user needs, and compliance requirements.
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of product designers and UX researchers.
User-Centered Design Execution
Drive end-to-end product design from discovery, journey mapping, and prototyping to detailed UI specifications.
Conduct and apply user research, usability testing, and data-driven insights to improve product flows and reduce friction.
Create design systems and patterns for consistency across channels (app, web).
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with product managers and engineers to define product requirements and technical feasibility.
Work closely with risk, compliance, and legal teams to ensure designs adhere to regulatory standards (e.g., BSP, AML, KYC).
Collaborate with marketing and CX to ensure brand-consistent experiences.
Innovation & Market Trends
Stay ahead of payment UX trends in PH and SEA and globally (e.g., tap-to-pay, open finance, e-wallet interoperability).
Explore opportunities to integrate emerging technologies such as QR Ph, NFC, merchants, and blockchain into the payment journey.
